Description
Yaquina Head Ghost Ship in Newport Oregon, by Beverly Guilliams......................................
Driving the Beautiful Oregon Coast is a Blessing, anytime of year.....We had never been to Newport Oregon to decided to stop there and the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse where the
Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area extends out from the Oregon coast, one mile into the Pacific Ocean. Standing 93 feet tall at the westernmost point of the basalt headland, the lighthouse has been a bright beacon of the night, guiding ships and their supplies along the west coast since the light was first lit on August 20, 1873.
We watch a show on TV about a Ghost Ship so YES placed my own pic in along the Fog Bank......Can't waist the Beautiful Fog bank, so what do you think!

Good thing that is a ghost ship....as a sailor I would be in fear for my life under full sail near those rocks!!!

Nicely done though I wouldn't want to be on her under full sail that close to the rocks!!...LF
